UPSTATERS - CALLING ALL T-SHIRTS!!!

While I normally post on my blog with a general audience in mind, with this post I'm targeting only my upstate South Carolina readers. The rest of you guys are more than welcome to read on though...who am I to turn anyone away?

LiNK Magazine is getting ready for their annual t-shirt issue and they're looking for a few good models. While I would love to tell you guys more about it, I'm a much bigger fan of copying and pasting the details...

"Hey everybody! Link has its annual T-shirt issue coming up soon, and we want people to show us their favorite T-shirts. Everybody has one. So, show it off and tell us why you like it. It could be a funny T-shirt. It could be a T-shirt that has a story behind it. It could be a brand new shirt that you think makes you look good. Whatever it is, we want to see it.

We’re going to have the Link photo studio open on Wednesday, July 9 from noon-6:30 p.m. and on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m.- 3p.m. Photo shoots take no more than 15 minutes, not to mention it’s fun, and everyone who comes in has a shot at being on the cover of Link.

So just let us know what time you’d like to come in. We’re wide open now, but slots fill up fast. Oh, and feel free to bring in your significant others, friends, friends of friends and perfect strangers!"

Adding to that, I have to emphasize that this shoot is a lot of fun. As you guys can tell by that "lovely" pic above that I did it last year and I really enjoyed myself. The staff is a professional crew, but everyone's laid back so it's not your like normal stuffy newspaper photo shoot. So if you guys have a favorite shirt (or just one you want to show off) and some free time next Wednesday or Saturday drop them a line and set up a time to go in. It won't take up a lot of your time and you get some free face time in our magazine.

Who knows? You may do the shoot, end up on the cover, wind up being contacted by a modeling agency, and end up with a new career as a professional model. If so, remember your good friend who told you about this opportunity...

If you only knew how many shirts I bought from there while we were at the meat plant...

Tons of disposable income + no free time to shop = lots of online shopping.
