Sunday Night Selections

No, I'm not dead. My computer was though. Thursday night my power supply decided that it didn't want to generate any more power, which left me computer-less until I was able to get my hands on one. Then after I got my hands on said adapter, my pals decided that we needed to go to Charleston -- randomly. So I went. And had a damn good time too. Especially on Saturday, which involved watching almost every college football game imaginable. I never thought it was possible to overdose on football until I found a place that let me watch seven games at once. Oof. Anywhoo, on to the music...I've gotta make up for lost time.

R&B
Oran "Juice" Jones - "The Rain"
You think you got over on me huh? You think I didn't see ya'll sharing that McFlurry? Yeah. I know you didn't girl. But I was there. Looking at ya'll. Oh yeah girl -- you cold busted. But that's alright. There's plenty more girls like you. I'm gonna be me. I'll be alright. You? Girl, you ain't nothin' without me. You ain't nothin' without "T_Piddy." Girl, you're dismissed. Silly rabbit...the trick's on you bitch.

Pop
Miley Cyrus - "See You Again"
Clemson's dance team, The Rally Cats, are a nice distraction at football games but they don't really shine until basketball season. All of the sudden they have a full program, complete with choreographed routines and little light shows. It's an impressive site and all, but their music selection needs a little work. I mean, while I personally enjoyed the can-can routine that was performed to this Miley Cyrus track at the last home basketball game, I'm sure that everyone in the audience over the age of 14 would have preferred something with a little more substance.

Rapcore + Electronica
3OH!3 - "Don't Trust Me"
TOPolk's reasons why you should listen to this song:
1) It's fun
2) The chorus is made up of the line "don't trust a ho."
Good enough for me.

Adult Contemporary
Air Supply - "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All"
I'm not sure what I'd want to be able to do more? Write lyrics like these for a girl or be able to actually deliever them to her without laughing at myself. This song is so cheesily bad that it's awesome. And if you're thinking to yourself, "Wow, this song is amazingly similar to Meat Loaf's 'I'd Do Anything For Love'," well then give yourself a cookie -- they were both written by the same guy.
Watch The Video (the video is awesomely bad too)

Making Love Out of Nothing at All is the song that Phil brutally butchered in China. I remember the high pitched "Making Love" he would sing - that is what the back ground singers say in many parts of the song. You would have had to been there to appreciate the insanity of it.

Phil doing Air Supply sounds like too much awesomeness for words.

Mandy
Yeah, I stole it from your blog. I gave it a listen and thought they were pretty cool.
