I feel like I'm in preschool.
a) Because I'm using Friday to show off my new toy.
b) Because that new toy is a Ray Stantz figure.
One of which I clearly remember bringing in for show and tell as a kid.

The only thing stopping me from ripping this baby open is the fact that I know I'm too old to "play" with toys. Damn if it's not a pretty figure though. Hats off to Mattel for grabbing the Ghostbusters license and making what looks to be a pretty solid line of figures. The build of both the figure itself and the packaging has me looking forward to not only the rest of the "classic" Ghostbusters line, but also the
Real Ghostbusters line coming out afterwards. The latter of which I'm super stoked about as I missed collecting
the original set as a child. Probably because I was all of 3 years old when they were released. Toddlers don't have much in the way of disposable income.
But I can't look too far down the road just yet. I still need to get my hands on a reasonably priced
Egon Spengler figure and be queued up and ready when the
Winston Zeddemore figure goes on sale in December...
Man. It's been a good year to be a Ghostbusters fan.

Define reasonably priced. If I'm reading this correctly, it was a Comic Con exclusive. You can get it new on Amazon for $70, which isn't bad as far as CC-exclusive stuff goes.
And two posts on Friday do not make up for missing Wednesday and Thursday YOU HAVE FAILED!
I don't think you're ever too old to play with toys! This is awesome though

I'm looking for one in the $50 range. $70's a little too steep for my blood. Especially since I have a feeling that they're going to release a "normal" Egon (as in unslimed) eventually.
Phats
Thanks! I love it as a desk ornament. I can't wait to get the whole set.
