Well This Is New

I've been trying to put this post together in my head since last Sunday. Here I sit almost a week later still unsure how I want to say what I want to say, so I'm just going to start typing and deal with what comes out later.

In the past few weeks, I learned something. Like every other guy, I'll joke around and say that all women are crazy, but I don't really believe that. What I have found to be true is that [most of] the women I've been involved with were crazy. Now there's been varying levels of crazy, ranging from very mild to "batshit insane," but the crazy has always been there. With that being said, imagine the thoughts going through my mind once I started hanging out with a girl who's not clinically insane. While I am absolutely enthralled at the fact that there are women who exist that don't make me "physically and mentally exhausted" to talk to, I feel like there's been a lot of "what do I do now?" moments lately. Whether I like it or not, I can do crazy. I know crazy. I don't know what to do with "normal." But you know what -- I'm more than happy to figure it out along the way. It's a very welcome change of pace.

There's other [good] things I want to touch on in this space, but I think I'll save them for later. Or just ignore them completely. Not everything needs to be blogged.

...As one who's been blogging for the better part of the last 8 years, that last sentence is echoing a bit in my head right now. Probably because I know that the only reason it's there is because a lot of my friends read my blog. Hey guys. ;-)
